I have the title with a question mark because I am still puzzled how a basic functional fabric can now be a hot home fashion trend.  And who would have thought that burlap sacks are now the hottest ticket at flea markets and thrift stores? People are making everything out of burlap. Why?   Burlap belongs in a barn, no? I have added some examples found on the Internet. Being a dress lover, I am happy that this year’s trend is the dress. How many times have you stood in front of your closet, staring, wondering what to wear to work?  The shirt you want to wear has a stain, then the hem of the pants is out in the back left leg, the jacket is at the cleaners.  The dress solves that dilemma.
